Though its industrial design may take some getting used to, HeadphoneInfo thinks the Crossfade M-100 sports a look "that never goes out of style." The over-ear design also means these are comfortable with Gizmodo saying they can "wear them for hours with zero strain" and Sound+Vision "was able to get a good seal even while wearing glasses." In terms of sound quality, Popular Science says "they sound extraordinary. Your ears will smile." CNET calls the M-100 "a 'crossover' headphone that appeals to audiophiles as well as V-Moda's core customers, who prize potent bass and dynamic impact." There is a downside to these headphones, however, as Inner Fidelity point out: "Between the big bass and sparkly treble is a mid-range that feels a bit left out." That said, if you're in the market for a comfortable headphone that is fun to listen to, and you can afford to spend $300, the M-100 should be near the top of your list.
