Novatel Jetpack 4620L

Engadget Summary

As an upgrade to last year's Jetpack 4510L, the Novatel 4620L mobile hotspot adds enough new features to make it worth recommending, especially since it's available at the same $49 price (with a two-year Verizon Wireless contract) as the earlier model. The Jetpack allows you to share connectivity with up to 10 devices simultaneously, and runs on Verizon's fast new 4G LTE network. If you're out of LTE range, it will fall back to Verizon's slower 3G network -- and if you're really out of range (i.e. in another country) it can roam internationally, too (as long as you're prepared to pay up). Mobile hotspots are still a pricey proposition for most people, but if you need shareable broadband on the go, the latest Jetpack is the best way to do it.
